Katie Anderson completed degrees in Economics and Spanish before entering her banking career. She is currently a Vice President with Wintrust Bank managing multiple locations in the Loop. She has always been interested in banking and since daily games of Monopoly gave her the chance to practice being the “banker.”
Ever torn by how to give more of her talents to mission driven organizations she completed a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and began a ten-year term on the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Research Board of Directors. When her time to transition off that board came in 2021 Katie was looking for a new organization to serve. A mother of three young children she found the mission of Back 2 School America to be a perfect fit.
Katie also serves in leadership positions with The Financial District Rotary Club and The Fortnightly of Chicago. She lives in Lakeview with her husband, two daughters, and son.
